Bun Form Method 2

Need:

  • Larger hair elastic for a ponytail and another for the formation of the bun

  • "U-shaped" bobby pins and normal regular bobby pins

  • Hairspray or gel

  • Hair net to match colour of dancers' hair

  • Bun form that matches (roughly) the colour of the dancers' hair

How:

  1. Make a tight ponytail at the crown of the head and smooth the hair with hair spray or gel.

  2. Pull the ponytail hair through the bun form and then pull the bun form to the end up the ponytail (easier to pull up towards the ceiling/sky).

  3. Tuck the ends of the ponytail around the bun form and then roll the bun form to the base of the pony (it doesn't need to be super neat or tidy). Don't make this roll too tight as we do not want the bun too small.

  4. Wrap the hair net around the bun and secure with bobby pins.

  5. Hair spay the head.
